Technology has given birth to a wide variety of gadgets which have brought a great impact in the education industry. The power point presentations completely eliminated the usage of the Chalk Boards. E-learning has led to the extinction of use of chalks in schools. This is because students now come to class with laptops, tablets and many other gadgets which help in accessing the notes online.

The public address system as an assistive technology has made Communication better. It is now possible to address a very big congregation of learners thereby eliminating the grouping of students the same course and the teacher. Technological advancements have led to the introduction of microphones and speakers which assist lecturers in communicating to the students.

The iPad and many android devices are a game changer to the learning system.  i-Pads are such flexible and extreme instruments for teaching and learning. They are used by both teachers and students both to store and to present notes.
Innovative ideas for communication
The need for development in communication is also on the rise. Technology has made a teacher-student communication to be very easy. This has been made possible by the use of emails, telephone conversations and in some occasions, use of social media.

The number of learners has also increased due to advancement in technology. Technology has even made it possible to teach the whole world at one time through social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and many others. Access to information has also risen to different limits. This is accredited to the existence of the World Wide Web.

Publication in the notice is now a thing of the past. In the olden days, teachers used presentation sheets and huge white or black boards to explain their points. There were also notice boards where people could get all the announcements and adverts. All this was replaced by social media platforms such as Whatsapp and the introduction of university websites where all announcements could be posted.

The modern innovative storage of information ideas has eradicated the traditional storage of notes. Because of technology, all reminders, and notes someone would like to read later can now be stored in laptops, tablets, phones and even flash disks. The massive amount of information one can store in emails is mind blowing.

E-learning
The introduction of intuitive textbooks and virtual libraries have made learning easier. Many e-learning materials have been introduced to replace hard copy reading materials. People no longer have to go to the library to access reading materials. One can now access a library online and access any book of his choice without physically visiting the facility.
An explosion of e-Books into the learning system can’t go unnoticed. When discussing course readings, e-books have ended up being more basic in schools with the movements of tablets and tablet PCs.

Ease of access to education
The introduction of the virtual programs in different learning institutions has also improved access to education. This has made possible by the coming up of the virtual classrooms. In today’s world, one can attend a class, learn, do examinations and graduate without stepping into a physical classroom.
Research has also been improved due to the amount of information on the internet. Conducting research has been made easier because of technology. One can now access the internet and obtain any reference materials at any given time in a click of a button.
